Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge Inspiration Card

There may be nothing more beautiful in the natural world than the majestic butterfly. And as you can see in the newest Waffle Flower Crafts Challenge inspiration photo, the colors of the butterfly can be as diverse as nature herself. When I first saw the photo, I was struck by the gorgeous hues and iridescent tones within the butterfly's wing. I instantly knew I wanted to capture those colors and use them as a focal point on my card cover. Below, you can see the photo for yourself. If you are as inspired as I was, please join in on the WFC Challenge (more info. on how to join in will be at the end of this post). We would love to see what you come up with and of course, there is the chance to "win" a beautiful Waffle Flower Crafts stamp set.

Isn't this an unusual looking butterfly? I love the rich browns, oranges, and splashes of teal blue with purple. Simply stunning. When creating my inspiration card, I took advantage of the color scheme and threw in a little butterfly embellishment for good measure. My focal message was conveyed using the versatile Waffle Flower Crafts In Every Way stamp set which can be found at this link. These stamps were perfect to create the word block/labels which could then be turned into tiny phrase tags---love that set!
Now, without any further ado, here is the inspiration card I came up with for the April 13-26 WFC challenge...

Below is a close-up shot of the stamped tags I created. Note: many of the WFC stamp sets include phrases or words that look lovely when used on their own as labels or tags. These embellishments are easy to make and can really "personalize" a card in a very special way.

If you would like to join in on the fun and submit a card that was inspired by our Challenge photo, then please follow this link to the Waffle Flower Crafts Photo Inspiration Challenge page. With each new Challenge, I am amazed at the creativity and inspiration level of each entry. Not only are the WFC challenges fun, but the lucky winner (as chosen by the Challenge Design Team) will walk away with a stamp set of their choice---and have you seen the new release this month!?!

Thanks for checking out this post, and please remember to join in on the fun. Until next time, have a wonderful day and a week full of fun and creativity!

Huggies to all---Jennifer.
